There are women in history who get lost in the stories. Our founding sisters, our warriors, who fought for our rights and freedom without accolades or recognition. This series is a celebration of those who paved the way and made it easier for many of us today.
The work begins by exploring, playing, getting my hands dirty until the image finds its way.

Inspiration comes from many sources. Books. Stories. The way the sunlight filters through a window. An overheard conversation. Each item brings its own history and texture to the work I create, layer by layer. If we stay open to the possibility, inspiration is ours for the taking, always.
